Some of the club's most iconic figures are out of contract in the summer but Pep Guardiola insists nothing will be revealed until the season ends

Pep Guardiola says he is focused on securing Champions League qualification rather than giving some of his out-of-contract stars an emotional send-off.

Barca expect imminent Messi renewal

Manchester City are preparing for two home games against Leicester City and West Brom in the space of the next four days, and need seven points from their remaining three matches to be sure of a top-four finish.

Seven first-team players are out of contract this summer, including City legends Pablo Zabaleta and Yaya Toure, and the two upcoming games could be their last at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola handed Joe Hart a send-off when City took on Steaua Bucharest in what was a dead rubber Champions League qualifier back in August, but with plenty riding on the next three games there is a chance that fans will not know if they are bidding farewell to some of their heroes.

"The club will do it properly as always but we are still fighting for something so important for the club, for the future," Guardiola said on Friday. "Now is the time to be focused."

Guardiola says he has already made a decision on the seven players, but that they will only be told what will happen at the end of the season.

Goal understands, however, that Bacary Sagna and Zabaleta will definitely leave, while Jesus Navas and Tosin Adarabioyo have been offered new deals, with the latter having agreed terms.

Boateng & Sanches ‘going nowhere’

"It does not depend if they play the last three games," he said. "The decision is already made. We are going to communicate after the season."

Gael Clichy and Willy Caballero are also out of contract and are not expected to be offered an extension.
