Shujaa lost to the Pumas 12-7 in Challenge Trophy quarterfinals before the Russians embarrassed them 15-7 in the semi-final for 13th place.

The Russians went 10 up at the break when Alexey Kapalin broke away to score on debut as Shujaa couldn’t keep possession in contact and in their rucks.
Kenya finally got on board after Dennis Ombachi and Samuel Oliech combined well before Oliech finished off.
The cheering partisan crowded couldn’t just inspire Shujaa, who were deflated further when Vladislav Lazarenko dug in their third try.
It was Shujaa’s worst show this season since Sydney where they only got two points. They will only get one point from Paris.
Shujaa now looks forward to London Sevens, the last leg of the Series this weekend.
